Ear Infections Schmear Infections

So it looks like Owen has another ear infection!

He wasn't doing so good a couple days ago,

so Matt and I took him to see his Doctor.

He is now on his 3rd set of antibiotics.

Poor guy.

He's not eating well

sleeping well

and is super needy.

He wakes up 4 times a night now.

He used to be able to sleep a continuous 7-10 hours

I miss that.

But I love him so much and

if I could carry his pain for him

and multiply it by 100 I would do

it in a heartbeat.

Matt and I are starting a bed time routine with him.

We give him a bath every night before bed

and use the Johnson & Johnson bed time soap.

It works so good. Owen doesn't fall asleep so easily

and every time we use it on him, he falls asleep in the

bath tub. It's so funny.

Owie Bear used to love tummy time, but lately can't stand it.

My friend Kim said that she uses her boppy for her baby.

I think that is a genius idea. Owen thinks so too.

On another note. . .

I just got a bunch of pictures from my sister Sheryll

that she's had on her computer for forever!

On my birthday last year after we went to Ruth's Diner,

we went to Murray Park to hang out and play frisbee.

It was a pretty day.

I remember thinking that it would be an eternity

until I got to meet Owen.

Now I look back and it seems like it flew by so fast.

Being a mom is an amazing blessing that I have been given.

I'm not going to lie, it is super hard.

Some days I don't get anything done,

and then there are days where I feel like Super Mom

and that I can do anything I put my heart and mind to.

I just have to take it in day by day.

But I feel so blessed that I am able

to spend my days with this little one.

I mean

who wouldn't want to spend every waking minute with this guy?
