Today is mother's day and I wanted to write a post about someone in my life that is very special and important to me . . . my mom, Helen Grace Guttierrez Flores. My mom is my best friend and has always been there for me. Thank you mom for everything.
My mom is pretty unique and isn't like any normal mom. Here are 20 random facts about her.
My mom . . .
1. hates touchy feely movies. She would rather go see a movie with lots of violence and loves vampire movies too.
2. is an amazing cook. She makes the best Filipino food in the entire world!
3. is obsessed with designer purses and shoes.
4. is very impatient when it comes to giving us gifts. For Christmas one year she was so excited to give us our gifts that she made us open them two weeks early, but then made us wrap them back up again.
5. was a tahitian dancer at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii.
6. is an amazing singer.
7. and me share a love for sugar. She has a sweet tooth just like me!
8. is full of laughter. She loves to joke around.
9. is the second to oldest out of 9 siblings.
10. loves her two dogs and treats them like her children.
11. loves to eat out. That's probably one of her favorite things to do.
12. loves wendover.
13. and my dad are really good dancers.
14. has a minor case of OCD and has passed it onto me. She will check the oven to see if it's off and will stare at it for a very long time just to make sure it's off.
15. loves her family so much and will do anything for us.
