New York {Day 1}

The flight to New York was surprisingly short. It only took us 3 hours and 55 minutes (to be exact) to arrive in sunny New York City. It was a really good flight, zero turbulence and screaming babies, however there was a lady with really bad B.O. that sat in front of me, but I won’t go into too much detail. Some people just don’t like wearing deodorant.

            Anyways, we caught a shuttle over to our hotel in White Plains. White Plains is about 30 minutes away from the city and is green and gorgeous. Mateo gets a deal through his work where we can stay at any of his properties for only $50! The hotel that he booked us was amazing. The pictures I took don’t even give it justice. It was a 2 bedroom 2 bath with a kitchen and living room. It also had a T.V., washer and dryer, and kitchen table. It was in a perfect location too. The train station was within 5 minutes walking distance.

            As soon as we got settled in, we walked about 5 minutes to the mall and ate at the food court. After that we caught the train to Grand Central Station and walked around the city from there. Here are some pictures from that night (in random order).
