New York {Day 2}

Day 2 was one of my favorite days in New York. We did so much stuff that day and took so many fun pictures. Delta lost Bridget's bag and promised to deliver it to her by that morning, but didn't (surprise surprise). So we got up and went to the mall so Bridget could get some clothes to wear that day.
After that we walked to the train station to catch a ride to the new Yankees stadium.

There were so many people getting off at that stop to go to the game. The crowd and the view of the stadium got me super excited!

Here's a shot of Matt and me before the game.

and Makai and Bridget

When we got there our friend Scott told us to get a hot dog from this place. It was so good! I wish I had one right now. I would honestly go back just to eat it again.

So Day 2 was soooo hot. I honestly got the biggest farmers tan just by sitting and watching the game. The game lasted so long and went into overtime. Bridget and I were having the hardest time sitting there and trying not to melt in the blazing sun. Water at the game was $7, so we kind of had to savor what little we had left to the very last drop.

We were basically sitting in the least expensive seats and got to experience the game with all of the blue collar workers. Honestly just listening to the crowd and hearing them argue back and forth was probably one of the funnest things about the game. People were swearing . . . some guy was yelling at his girlfriend (Saaarrraaahhh) to "Suck it" (She was a Phillies fan), and another guy was playing with a puppet the whole time (I don't know why).

Here are Jeter and A-Rod. Bridget and I had a lot of fun watching these two hotties.

After the game we headed over to China Town. All I have to say is that it smelled like a$$. It was really cool looking though. It really felt like I was in China (even though I've never been there I could imagine that that's what it would feel like). They had the whole chickens hanging in the window and everything. They also had little chinese ladies coming up to you to whisper things like "Louis Vuitton" in your ear.

STINKY!

After walking through horrible China town, we headed on down to Little Italy. That was amazing. It was like we found our home. Makai was so happy, he decided to skip through the whole thing (literally). j/k

This is where everyone was. We could have people watched all day.

Before we ate dinner, we got Canolis. Yumm! They had different kinds to choose from and I decided on the Birthday Cake. It was so good!

There were so many Italian Restaurants all along the streets we just decided on the cheapest one. It was really good. Makai and I got spaghetti and meatballs, Bridget got some sort of seafood pasta, and Matt got fetticini alfredo. He added on chicken and it seriously cost him an extra $8.

After walking around for a little after dinner, we headed over to the Brooklyn Bridge and walked across it. It was really fun, up until Bridget looked down and discovered that all that was holding us up were a couple of old wooden planks. Freaky.

On the way back to the subway, we stopped to get some icecream. So good. These little trucks were like on every block in New York.

It seemed like we waited forever for the subway, so we decided to take a couple of fun pictures. Makai, Bridget and I are actually going to start a rap group. Here's the cover of our first album. We call ourselves Brooklyn Style.

I took the next shot just as the train was coming in. Isn't it romantic? I love it.

and thanks to Bridget she got a really good one of me and Matt. She's such a professional.

Well, that's Day 2 of our New York Trip. Stay tuned for Day 3!
