Sorry it's been so long since my last post. It's been a very busy month! I promise I want to finish posting about my trip and hope to do it all by next week. Yay! I know my husband has been waiting for this post so here it goes . . .
After landing in D.C. we rode the metro to Dupont Circle and walked about 10 minutes to our hotel. Dupont Circle was so beautiful. It's a really pretty town that has cute little shops and you could people watch for days. We stayed in a one bedroom at the Hilton, which was kind of hard coming from a place with two beds and two baths.
After checking into our room, we walked back to the metro to meet the Suterras and Farrimonds for dinner. On the way back to the metro (in Dupont Circle) I walked past a sleeping bum who was wearing daisy dukes and I couldn't stop staring at his really long beard. It was super long! I noticed Makai and Matt kind of chuckling but I didn't know why. Bridget ran up to me and said, "Gianne did you see that?!" I didn't know what she was talking about. She grabbed my arm and pulled me back to wear the bum was laying, and right then and there were his huge sweaty balls just laying on the side walk. They were just peaking out of his daisy duke shorts and were exposed to the entire world!
We went to a restaurant called Champs. It was so good! Anthony ordered these really yummy nachos, which we downed in 10 minutes. Anthony and Jamie brought their kids Carmine and Braxton. I couldn't believe how adorable they both were.
After dinner we walked across the street to see the Pentagon. They have a really cool memorial placed in front of the building honoring those who died in the 911 attacks.
